用 YouTube 看影片、聽音樂會發生很神奇的事，就是 YouTube 會「帶」我進入未知或不熟的「異世界」，讓我接觸到一些我幾乎不會主動去聽的歌曲，像是這首有著濃厚鄉村樂風的《Happen to Me》，然後，我發現我還挺喜歡的。
《Happen to Me》是首旋律輕快的鄉村流行音樂，Russell Dickerson 頗具特色的嗓音詮釋出鄉村大男孩面對突然降臨的「豔遇」時，那種有點期待又有點怕受傷害的心情。其實，充滿復古味的MV，是最先吸引我注意的，它讓我聯想到美劇的場景，感覺好親切（咦？是追了多少美劇啊~）。Russell Dickerson 在影片中與舞群所跳的魔性舞步，據說靈感是來自 Cyndi Lauper 在 1983年發行的歌曲《Girls Just Want to Have Fun》，連歌詞中也用上了這句：「Girls Just Wanna Have Fun」，滿滿的致敬意味。當然，《Happen to Me》本身也有很不錯的成績，在今年九月跟十月都曾拿下【公告牌鄉村電臺榜（Billboard’s Country Airplay chart）】的冠軍。最近又找了 Jonas Brothers 合作，Russell Dickerson 粗獷的嗓音加上 Jonas Brothers 清亮的歌聲，呈現出不同味道的《Happen to Me》。此文著作權為［西莉西亞的喃喃自語］所有，未經同意請勿轉載。
